Investment
Legacy Books begin at $5,000 and are quoted individually after an initial conversation.

My Approach
A longer life story project asks for patience, trust, and room to unfold. I begin with conversation and listening, paying close attention to what a person remembers most vividly, what themes return, and what gives shape to the life they have lived.
From there, I begin to gather and organize the material into something coherent and readable. My role is not to flatten a life into a timeline. It is to listen for what matters, shape the story with care, and create a written work that feels true to the person at its center.
Some clients come with a clear sense of the story they want to tell. Others begin with fragments, family memories, or a lifetime of moments that have never been gathered in one place. Both are welcome here.
This work is thoughtful and collaborative. It takes time, and it is meant to.
Let’s Work Together
How does the process begin?
1
Do I need to have everything organized before we begin?
2
Not at all. Some clients come with notes, photos, or a rough timeline. Others come with memories and a desire to begin. Both are enough.
Can this be done by phone?
3
Yes. I work by phone, Zoom, and, when local, may also be available for in-person sessions.
How is pricing determined?
4
Pricing is based on the number of sessions, the scope of the manuscript, and the complexity of the project. A fuller life story or memoir project is quoted individually after an initial conversation.
Is this only for memoirs?
5
Frequently Asked Questions
No. These projects may take the shape of a memoir, a family legacy book, a personal history, or another longer-form written keepsake.
Can family members be part of the process?
6
It begins with an initial conversation. We talk about the life, stories, or themes you want to preserve, and I provide a custom quote based on scope, length, and interview needs.
Yes, when appropriate. Some projects are centered on one person’s voice, while others may include family memories, context, or supporting details.
